The Justice Collective – Charity Single – ‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother’

18 Dec

“will make a huge difference to all the families looking for justice for the loved ones they lost in the tragedy.”

This cover of the The Hollie’s 1969 hit has been recorded by a collection of singers and celebrities and will be released for various charities associated with the Hillsborough disaster. The single, which includes Sir Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Alan Hansen and Kenny Dalglish among many others, is being released in the race for Christmas number one. All money raised from the single will go towards covering the legal costs of the families of the Liverpool supporters who tragically lost their lives in the disaster, as part of their campaign to finally get justice for the 96.

The original song was played at Goodison Park as an emotional tribute to the 96 and had a huge emotional impact on fans in the ground, hence why it was the appropriate song of choice for this charity release.

This is going towards a fantastic cause and will make a huge difference to all the families looking for justice for the loved ones they lost in the tragedy, plus it would make a refreshing change from the inevitable X Factor winner’s single hogging the Christmas number one spot every year.

The single is available to buy now. #JFT96
